Topic: The Mentoring Edge: Partnering for Career Success

Nellie Myers hails from a long career as a business strategist and coach with a passion for mentoring programs. She brings corporate experience and savvy to the advancement of women in the financial and human resources sectors of the global marketplace. Her expertise on the advancement of women in corporations and professional firms, workforce demographic trends and the business case for women’s career development has been honed by her recent role as National Client Group Leader and Portfolio Executive at Hewitt Associates. Known as the leading global provider of human resources outsourcing and consulting services, Hewitt Associates recognized the need for innovative strategies for retaining and advancing women, and work-life effectiveness and launched the Women in Leadership program led by a team of four women. Nellie led the Mentoring portion of the program by partnering with Menttium and at last count, the membership is well over 100 participating women.

Having broken barriers in her own career, as a member of the first class of the Women of Wall Street initiative, Nellie is widely recognized as a pioneer in the world of financial services.

Before she rewired her career as the CEO of the new web community, Glam-Mother, Nellie participated in the Pathfinders program as a mentor for several years and speaks from experience and with authority on the topic of how women are transforming the practice of leadership.
